Jerry Sullivan, from Kilcatherine, Beara, (2nd from left) being congratulated by Deputy Noel Harrington (1st from left) yesterday at County Hall, Cork. Jerry, who won the nomination for co-option onto the Council, to replace Noel, at Bantry last Saturday night, has been involved with Fine Gael in Beara since his teens. He is Chairman of the Eyeries and Beara Branches – but stepped down from the latter when he decided to go for nomination. Jerry, was one of 5 candidates who sought the nomination and was a clear winner on the night. Also in the Picture is Deputy Jim Daly, congratulating Noel O’Donovan who replaces him at Cork Co. Council. Noel O’Donovan was one of four who sought the nomination and won last Fri night at Dunmanway.
Jerry, is married to Catherine and has 4 sons (pictured left)
